Miss Jackson teaches College Preparatory and AP Environmental Science.
She was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley and attended UC Davis. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Policy Analysis and Planning and a minor in Geology.
Environmental education is near and dear to her heart. In college, she worked as the Waste Reduction Coordinator for UC Davis Dining Services for three years, teaching staff and students about the importance of recycling and composting while implementing new and exciting programs. (Sometimes sorting through the trash herself!) She was also in student government (ASUCD) as the Chair of the Environmental Policy and Planning Commission her third year at UC Davis and as Director of Campus Center for the Environment her fourth year.
