David Gundrum joined the science department in the fall of 2015 and currently teaches Honors Chemistry, Physics, and AP Physics.  Mr. Gundrum holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nuclear Engineering from Iowa State University and holds a clear credential, CLAD and NCLB certification from the state of California in Physics and Chemistry.  He is a member of the National Science Teachers Association, California Science Teachers Association, American Association of Physics Teachers and the American Association of Chemistry Teachers.  He brings a wealth of real-world experience to his classes having served as a naval submarine officer for twelve years and in various manufacturing managerial positions for an additional thirteen years before becoming a science teacher.
